carrigeen glamping exceeded my expectations. lovely owners, cute and cosy pods. ensuite and spacious shower. generous and delicious breakfast. taxis to kilkenny were convenient.
Bed size was small for two people.

I enjoyed the continental breakfast and relaxing in the garden. Oh, and let's not forget the excitement of being near Waterford Airport!
Who needs more than one tiny table in the common space or more than one shower for 9 people? It's all part of the thrill!

The glamping site is nestled in a beautiful natural environment, allowing guests to unwind and relax amidst nature. The pods are cozy and warm, providing a comfortable sleeping experience. The hosts, Jimmy and Marsha, are attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast baskets are a delightful treat, filled with homemade goodies and delivered with care. The common areas are spacious and well-equipped, including a functional kitchen for guests' convenience. The location is ideal, being close to Kilkenny and various attractions.
Some guests experienced an issue with a neighbor from another pod dropping by at an inconvenient time.

The double room at Carrigeen Glamping was absolutely charming! The balcony was a lovely addition, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or stargazing at night. The seating area was cozy and provided a great spot to relax after a long day of exploring. I loved having a private entrance, it made me feel like I had my own little cabin getaway.
Personally, I'm a light sleeper, and I found that the private entrance let in a bit more noise than I would have liked. But I understand that some people might enjoy the lively atmosphere it creates.

We couldn't have asked for a better value for our money. The room was spotless and perfect for our needs. The location was peaceful and secluded, surrounded only by farmland. The staff, especially Marsha, treated us with kindness and made us feel at home.
As for the breakfast option, it would have been even better if there was a wider variety of choices available.
